The City of Livermore, in partnership with the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District and the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District, hosts an annual Community Service Day. This event brings our community together to enhance and beautify the city through various volunteer projects.
Volunteers have the chance to select from a variety of projects throughout the city, including park clean-ups, fence painting, plantings, and other beautification efforts. The day typically begins with volunteers working on project sites in the morning, followed by a community gathering where a complimentary lunch is provided.
This year's Community Service Day took place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Following the volunteer work, a celebratory lunch event was hosted from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Las Positas College (3000 Campus Hill Drive, Livermore; located at the track, Parking Lot O).
