A vital function of our Asset Management program is Street Maintenance.

This Section identifies obvious and potential street paving failures and responds with timely maintenance and repairs.

This section is made up of a Public Works Department supervisor and 10 staff who are stewards of our roads. Ongoing caretaking includes roadside culvert cleaning, leaf removal, patching, pothole repair and pavement markings for around 300 miles of streets. This section also performs crack sealing and base repairs in support of the annual resurfacing and slurry seal capital improvement projects.

This section leads repairs on an estimated 10,500 feet of backlot fencing, removes litter from the public right of way and city facilities, and performs the field work associated with the annual weed abatement program.
