Noise Abatement
In an effort to mitigate noise concerns resulting from night operations and to foster public relations, the City of Livermore Airport Commission issued the following policy statement effective January 14, 2002:
"Aircraft operators, especially those operating jet aircraft, are requested to adhere to the "Livermore Airport Voluntary Restraint from Night Flying Time Period" and refrain from flying between 2200 hours and 0600 hours local time."
The City of Livermore maintains records of noise reports. These public documents are available upon request to the City Clerk's Office. The City will not release any identifying information about persons who file reports.
