Pacific Avenue Senior Housing
Pacific Avenue Senior Apartments is a 100% affordable residential development on approximately 3.6 acres on the south side of Pacific Avenue at its eastern terminus (between Sunken Gardens Skate Park and Tri-Valley Haven). The project includes 140 for-rent apartment units within two four-story buildings, with a mix of one-and two-bedroom units ranging between 575 and 750 square feet. All units will be affordable rental residential units, reserved for extremely low, very low, and lower-income households (i.e., 20 percent to 60 percent of Alameda County Area Median Income) with preferences for veteran, disabled, and special needs seniors or those experiencing homelessness. The project includes parking, landscaping, and lighting improvements and will be built in two phases. Phase I includes the construction of the southern building, approximately 79 housing units, and the necessary driveway access from Pacific Avenue and a surface parking lot. Phase II would include construction of the north building, approximately 61 units and the remaining site improvements.
