Parkwest Casino 580's expansion project is a commercial project on approximately 14.3 acres across two existing parcels in the INSP's General Commercial Zone. The project involves improvements to the casino's existing building, development of the casino's adjacent parcel to add 231 new parking spaces, and public improvements along Colliers Canyon Road and Doolan Road. The City has entered into a Development Agreement with Parkwest Casino 580 to allow for the expansion of services and operating hours. In return, the City will collect increased per table fees and other one-time payments to the Livermore Police Department (LPD). These increased table fees would pay for the purchase, installation, and maintenance of new safety and security equipment near the casino.
