The City of Livermore maintains a Street Resurfacing Program to preserve the condition, safety, and usability of its roadways. Over time, weather, traffic, and natural wear cause pavement to deteriorate, leading to cracks, potholes, and uneven surfaces. Through frequent review of pavement quality, City staff determine which streets are most in need of resurfacing or slurry seal that work is incorporated into the City's Capital Improvement Plan.
