The Vasco Road/I-580 interchange currently experiences operational deficiencies resulting in significant traffic delays. The City of Livermore is leading efforts in partnership with CalTrans and the Tri-Valley Transportation Council (TVTC) to improve the interchange.

Improvements will enhance operations, safety, and traffic capacity, mitigate future congestion. The project will include widening the overcrossing to eight lanes and reconstructing the ramps to achieve a modified partial cloverleaf interchange design.
