The City of Livermore and the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District partnered to develop and construct the new 6.8-acre Springtown Community Park next to the existing Springtown library and an 18-hole disc golf course. Both will be constructed on the closed Springtown Golf Course along Bluebell Drive.

The community park will include:

  • playground equipment with shade structure,
  • a sports fitness area,
  • multi-generational plaza with shade structure,
  • shaded picnic area with electrical outlets,
  • community garden
  • trees and ecolawn,
  • pedestrian and bicycle paths,
  • public restroom, and
  • parking areas and traffic calming on Bluebell Avenue.

A designated path will provide connection to the beginning and end of the adjacent new 18-hole Springtown Disc-Golf Course.

Construction has started! Work is progressing as expected and the park, community garden, and disc golf course are all scheduled to open in early Fall 2026.
