The City of Livermore is going to start replacing vehicles at the end of their service lives with electric vehicles. This project will be completed in two phases. Phase two will include the installation of approximately 100 electric vehicle charging ports in City parking lots at City Hall, the Water Reclamation Plant, the Maintenance Service Center, the Police Building, and the Airport. The planned installation includes 96 Level 2 chargers and 4 DC Fast Chargers. In addition to supporting electrical infrastructure, minor parking layout modifications are also anticipated.
