The City of Livermore was recently selected for a total of $2,250,000 of Cycle 12 Highway Safety Improvement Project (HSIP) funding, with a local match of 10%. This project will install advanced stop bars, flashing beacons, and leading pedestrian interval at signalized intersections. It will also include installing rectangular rapid flashing beacons (RRFB), larger and additional warning/regulatory signs at unsignalized intersections and install speed feedback signals on major corridors.
