This project will install, upgrade, relocate, and maintain street lighting levels. This includes adding

• 28 new lights and 77 bulbs to existing lights on East Avenue between Livermore Avenue and Vasco Road,
• 24 new bollard lights at Carnegie Park, and
• new lights, including solar lights, at various locations throughout Livermore. 

The project will further enhance pedestrian and traffic safety by maintaining and improving lighting levels. Additionally, replacing existing lights with LED lights will reduce energy usage and decrease maintenance costs. Lighting improvements along East Avenue were recommended in the East Avenue Street Lighting Lumens Study.
