This project will underground overhead electrical and communications lines and poles along North L Street from the Union Pacific railroad tracks to Potola Avenue. This will include some work along North and South Livermore Avenue. Funding for this project is covered under the PG&E Rule 20A program. The City will also use gas taxes to assist property owners in converting their electrical service from overhead to underground and reconstruction of the portions of the roadway and sidewalk impacted by the construction work.
