During storm events, the Arroyo Las Positas creek overflows onto the golf course, leading to sediment clogging the drainage system (storm drains and inlets) at the clubhouse parking lot. The current drainage system is undersized which hinders effective drainage during storms and results in flooding. To improve the drainage system, the project will include the installation of larger diameter storm drains and additional catch basins. Additionally, it will disconnect the drainage outlet that currently drains into the Arroyo Las Positas and reroute it to the storm drain system further downstream at the airport.
