Key to the City
Key to the City is a unique behind-the-scenes look at municipal operations. It is a free program open to people who live or work in Livermore.
The next session of the program is scheduled for Spring 2026.
About the Program
Key to the City allows the public to peek behind the curtain of local government. Participants meet the Mayor and City staff, venture on a "Discover Livermore" bus tour, and explore municipal facilities such as the fire training tower, water reclamation plant, and airport administration building during two-hour sessions held weekly for approximately 12 weeks.
Feedback from past participants has been overwhelmingly positive, including comments such as, "...Time spent very wisely;" and, "...You'll never view government in quite the same way."
