Public Comment Instructions

During the Meeting 

View the current advisory body agenda to see the location and time of the meeting.

• For meetings held in the William M. Mendenhall Room or City Council Chamber, speaker cards are available in the Civic Center Meeting Hall lobby.
• Livermore Housing Authority speaker cards are available a the West Wing Entrance. Submit your speaker card in the box at the West Wing Entrance. Cards are collected prior to the start of an item. 
• Indicate on the card the item number for which you wish to comment.
• Submit the card directly to the staff liaison ideally prior to the start of the item, but comment is accepted up until the public comment period for that item closes.
• Speakers may not submit a card for other speakers.
• When you are called to speak, please approach the podium.
• Speakers will have 3 minutes to speak. The Chair may reduce the amount of time based on the number of persons wishing to speak.

Prior to the Meeting 

To provide public written comments prior to the meeting by email, see the current agenda for contact information and cut off times. Comments are provided to the Advisory Body membership in a Supplemental Packet prior to the meeting. Public comments via email are NOT read into the record.

eComments may be submitted by the public using the eComment portal. Comments may be up to 1,000 characters in length and will be accepted up to one hour before the start of the meeting. These items will NOT be read into the record and are viewable by the Commission and the public upon submittal. eComments are not available for the Livermore Housing Authority.
