General Municipal Elections are held in November of even-numbered years. The offices of Mayor, City Council Member - District 1, and City Council Member - District 2 will be on the November 3, 2026, ballot.

The following City offices are up for election as part of the November 3, 2026, General Municipal Election:
City Council Member - District 1 (4-year term ending Nov. 2030)
City Council Member - District 2 (4-year term ending Nov. 2030)
Mayor - At-large (2-year term ending Nov. 2028)
Nomination papers may be obtained at the City Clerk's Office, 1052 S. Livermore Avenue.
Completed Nomination papers may be submitted to the City Clerk's Office, 1052 S. Livermore Ave. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please contact the City Clerk's Office at cityclerk@livermoreca.gov or 925-960-4200 to schedule an appointment.
