On June 6, 2026, hundreds of community members gathered to celebrate the 125th birthday of the Centennial Bulb located in Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Station #6 (4550 East Ave., Livermore, CA 94550). For 125 years, a single light bulb has continued to shine here in Livermore. Installed in 1901 as a night light for volunteer firefighters, this humble bulb has become one of the most remarkable and beloved landmarks in our city’s history.
