Livermore's annual Beautification Award and Community Service Award nominations are open for 2026.

The program, administered by Public Works, is overseen by the City's Beautification Committee. Each year, the Committee recognizes the efforts of our community members in enhancing and increasing the aesthetic attraction of Livermore.

The Beautification Award recognizes residents and business properties that have improved curb appeal, recognize drought tolerant landscaping, and beautify Livermore.

The Community Service Award recognizes volunteers in the community who volunteer to enhance public spaces and encourage citizen participation in making Livermore a more beautiful place to live. Both awards promote creativity, community pride, and economic vitality in Livermore.

For the Beautification Award, the Committee is looking for excellence in residential site improvements, retail or commercial upgrades, water wise or native plant landscapes, historical renovations and other structural renovations, restorations and new builds that include noteworthy landscape design. The Community Service Award recognizes individuals or organizations who have volunteered to improve public property including enhancing landscapes, renovating historic public spaces, or collecting litter.

Any residential or commercial property or volunteer working within the city limits of Livermore may be nominated. Self nominations are encouraged.
