The Livermore Public Library is pleased to announce it will once again be hosting free tax preparation services in collaboration with the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program.

Since 1968, Tax-Aide has helped more than 82 million taxpayers file their returns for free. The program is geared toward seniors and low-income residents but is open to all qualifying situations. You do not need to be a member of AARP to use this service. Take the stress out of tax season with free tax assistance at Livermore Public Library!

This service is available by appointment only, each Thursday between February 5 to April 9, 2026. Appointments are located at the Civic Center Library Board Room. Please contact the library to schedule your appointment at 925-373-5505 or at lib@livermoreca.gov
