Results from Livermore's 2025 National Community SurveyTM (NCS) show continued high satisfaction among residents, with 95% rating Livermore as an excellent or good place to live and 92% saying they would recommend living in the city to others.
Key areas such as quality of life, natural environment, and safety received particularly high marks, with many of Livermore's scores exceeding national benchmarks.
"The feedback from our residents is a vital part of how we set priorities and evaluate progress," said Livermore Mayor John Marchand. "It is encouraging to see that our residents continue to value Livermore's thoughtful community planning, high-performing services, and overall livability. This survey helps us align our work with what matters most, the quality of life for our community."

Of the 3,000 randomly selected Livermore households, 374 residents completed the survey between February and April 2025, resulting in a 13% response rate. Responses were weighted to ensure representation across age, gender, race/ethnicity, housing status, and geography.
